The submission of Abstracts is now open for the 16th International Wheelset Congress (16 IWC 2010).
You are invited to submit Abstracts until the abstract closing date: June 30th, 2009.
- Every paper must have a presenting author who will be a registered participant with registration fees fully paid by the closing date for registrations.
- No author may be a presenting author more than once at the 16 IWC 2010.
- An author may be a non-presenting co-author of multiple papers.
- A submitting author is not required to be the presenting author.
- After you have submitted your Abstract you will be supplied with a Personal Access Key. Your Personal Access Key allows you to amend any Abstract you previously submitted, to submit another Abstract and to register for the 16 IWC 2010. The Personal Access Key will automatically bring up your personal details already completed on previous forms, and will permit further editing.
- Authors can update or replace their Abstracts through the Speaker Zone on the website, using their Personal Access Key until June 30th, 2009.

Abstract Guidelines
The body of the abstract must be between 350 and 400 words and may include one diagram. It is to be typed in Arial 12 font, must be double line spaced and may not include italics. Arabic numerals must be used for numbers. Keep abbreviations to a minimum and define each one when it is used for the first time.
The review of abstracts will be done in a blind reviewing process. If your abstract is accepted you will be notified and requested to upload the final paper.

Final Paper Guidelines
The body of the final paper must be a total of 6000 words if it is text only. The numbers of words must be reduced to accommodate the inclusion of illustrations, maths equations and /or tables. (As a guideline for each illustration or table an equivalent of 250 words must be extracted from the total of 6000 words). It is to be typed in Arial 12 font, must be double line spaced and may not include italics. Arabic numerals must be used for numbers. Keep abbreviations to a minimum and define each one when it is used for the first time. |

Terms and Conditions
- Presenters will have to apply for full registration at the regular registration fees. Failure to register and pay registration costs will result in the paper being withdrawn from the programme.
- The 16th International Wheelset Congress Organisers will not edit the manuscripts. The manuscripts are published exactly in the form created by the authors. Therefore the authors should format the manuscripts according to the layout instructions in the templates.
- Presenters may only have one oral presentation, but may be co authors of other presentations.
